He said that I remember when PCB called me to lead Pakistan Cricket Team in 2019. Over the past four years, I have experienced many highs and lows in and off the field, but every time I was trying to maintain Pakistan’s Pride and respect in the world of cricket.
I would like to express my gratitude to the passionate Pakistan cricket fans for their support during this journey.
“I am stepping down as the captain of Pakistan in all three formats. It’s very hard decision but I feel it is the right time for this call.” Babar Azam said.
Additionally he added that he will continue to play for Pakistan in all three formats. He said that he will be there to help the new captain and the team with his experience and dedication.
At last Babar said that he is very thankful to the Pakistan Cricket Board for trusting him with this responsibility for past four years.
