The JKBOSE recently made public its intention to hold yearly exams for students in the 10th and 12th grades. Exams for the soft zones are expected to start the first week of March 2024, and exams for the hard zones are scheduled to start the second week of April 2024.
Exam Schedule for Soft Zones:
The second week of March 2024 will mark the start of the tenth standard exams in soft zones.
Exams for students in soft zones in the eleventh standard are scheduled to start the last week of March.
Similarly, the first week of March 2024 will see the start of the 12th standard exams.
Timetable of Exams for Hard Zones:
Exams for the 10th and 12th grades will be held in the hard and difficult zones of the Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh divisions starting in the second week of April, 2024.
The final week of April is when these zones will have their 11th standard exams.
Declaration of Results:
The third week of June 2024 will see the announcement of the results for the 10th standard exams for both the hard and soft zones.
In a similar vein, the eleventh standard results will be released during the final week of June.
Finally, the second week of June is when the results of the 12th standard exams are anticipated to be released.
Particular Situations:
The annual regular examinations for 444 schools in Jammu and Kashmir will now take place in April rather than March, as per the Board’s announcement.
April exams are scheduled for the entire Leh district in Ladakh, which has been declared a hard zone.
