The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced a major update to school schedules across the Kashmir Division, effective 1 April 2025. The changes aim to streamline daily operations while addressing regional logistical needs.

- Timing: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Applies to all government and private schools within the city.
- Schools Outside Srinagar & Across Kashmir:
- Timing: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Covers institutions in rural and semi-urban areas outside the municipal boundaries.
