SRINAGAR: Applications are being accepted for the positions of Research Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Lab Technician, Scientist B (Medical and Non-Medical), and Multitasking Staff. These positions are available on a contract basis for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on the principal investigator’s performance and behaviour reports.
Applications will be accepted offline starting on December 21, 2023.
For the position of Scientist B (Medical/Non-medical), candidates with an MD/DNB in microbiology, MBBS, BDS, BVSc, and AH, or a Master’s or PhD in microbiology, biotechnology, virology, or molecular biology are eligible.
Applicants for the position of Research Assistant must hold an MSc in Medical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Virology.
Applicants may apply for the Laboratory Technician position if they have a Medical Laboratory Technology diploma or BSc.
Candidates for the position of Data Operator must have completed a six-month computer application diploma programme.
Applicants for the Multitasking position must have passed their matriculation exams.
A salary of 56,000 for Scientist B, 35,000 for Research Assistant, 20,000 for Lab Technician and Data Entry Operator, and 18,000 for Multitasking Staff will be awarded to the chosen candidates.
Applicants must be eligible by December 24, 2023, to be considered.
