In North Kashmir a teacher was suspended due to allegations of harassment

SRINAGAR: A female student’s claims of harassment have led to the suspension of a teacher employed by a government school in Baramulla, north Kashmir.

Following a thorough investigation by a designated team, the issue was forwarded to Baramulla’s Chief Education Officer (CEO), according to sources.

Reliable sources with knowledge of the investigation also stated that the teacher was suspended following the validation of the student’s claims.

It has also been found that the instructor has previously dealt with other complaints of a similar nature.

A spokesperson for the CEO office in Baramulla, however, announced that the accused—whose name is being withheld—who was employed by Trikanjan has been suspended effective immediately. He said that the teacher in question will be working out of the CEO office in Baramulla during this time. In KS
