December 30, Srinagar (KSA): The class 8 syllabus for the forthcoming academic year 2024 has been released by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) in a downloadable PDF format. You can now download the most recent syllabus straight from the JKBOSE website, jkbose.nic.in.
The subject-by-subject course structure and content for Class 8 students are described in the recently released syllabus PDF. In important subjects like math, science, social studies, English, Hindi, and Urdu, it offers comprehensive guidelines on the topics, units, and chapters that must be covered. The following are a few of the significant modifications JKBOSE made to the Class 8 syllabus for 2024:
- New topics on profit-loss, algebraic expressions, visualising solid shapes, etc., have been added to the revised mathematics syllabus.
- revised science curriculum that places more of an emphasis on hands-on learning and laboratory work.
- Social Studies curriculum has been updated to comply with the most recent NCERT guidelines.
- There are now more prose and poetry choices in the English syllabus.
- simplified exam format and syllabus organisation.
The board has recommended that all Jammu & Kashmiri schools download the updated syllabus in PDF format and arrange their classes in accordance with it well in advance of the 2024 school year. The purpose of the revised syllabus is to give Class 8 students a better learning experience and to increase their conceptual understanding.
