Northern Railway’s Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced 3093 openings in a number of clusters.
Groupings and Distribution of Vacancies:
– Cluster Lucknow: 1,310 posts
Ambala Cluster: 420 posts
Posts in the Delhi Cluster: 794
– 569 posts in the Firozpur Cluster
Open Positions:
The hiring campaign is for a variety of roles, such as:
Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter (General), Mechanic (Diesel), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician, Wireman, Fitter, Welder (C&E), Turner, Mechanist,
Qualification Standards:
Candidates must be between the ages of 15 and 24 and have at least 50% in their SSC, Matriculation, or 10th class exam results, or their equivalent (as determined by the 10+2 examination system), from an accredited Board. Candidates also need to have completed an ITI in the relevant trade, awarded by an NCVT or SCVT that is approved by the Indian government. The maximum age limit may be lowered for deserving applicants.
Procedure for Application:
A non-refundable application fee of Rs 100 must be paid by candidates, with the exception of those who fall under the SC, ST, PwBD, or Women categories.
