In the latest ODI ranking Shubman Gill is ranked No1 ODI batter as he overtakes Pakistani captain Babar Azam , Babar was ranked ODI No 1 batter for 951 days. His performance in the ODI world cup has not been up to the mark so he kept loosing points.

Before the start of the ODI World Cup he had 887 points he lost 63 points due to bad performance in some matches of the ODI World Cup. Babar Azam has also scored four 50+ scores in this world Cup.
